Sportsheets Wins EAN Erotixxx Marketing Award

HUNTINGTON BEACH — The Sportsheets team has returned to the U.S. after another successful 2012 eroFame trade show and winning the 2012 Erotixxx award for Best Marketing Business-to-Business Campaign for the Sex & Mischief collection.

Sportsheets’ sales team, helmed by Senior Customer Specialist Cheri Poe, says it took an influx of orders for Sex & Mischief must-haves and handled record sales of Sportsheets Premium BDSM and positioning tools and one-of-a-kind Sex In the Shower bath-friendly sex toys. Each brand was showcased in pre-designed plan-o-grams.

“We’ve seen such success with our BDSM and fantasy items in Europe just as we have in the U.S. thanks to the cultural shift caused by ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’” Sportsheets President Julie Stewart said. “It’s an honor to be recognized by the international industry for our hard work spreading the Sex & Mischief message and Sportsheets would like to thank everyone who voted for us. Our products are the perfect entry-level BDSM items for both beginner and more experienced consumers, and the industry has taken note!”

The Sportsheets team also introduced Kimberly Harding to the industry in her official debut as project manager. She also happens to be Sportsheets founder and CEO Tom Stewart’s wife, and her new role further strengthens the company’s family-owned-and-operated roots, the company said.

The 2012 EAN Erotixxx Awards were held in Hannover, Germany, during the annual eroFame trade convention, which brings together the biggest names and brightest companies in the adult product industry to showcase their latest designs and product lines to buyers from around the world.
