Evolved Novelties Launches Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Evolved Novelties has announced its initiatives in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Love Candy by Kendra is introducing The Prevail personal massager, Evolved is hosting an auction on E-bay for breast cancer awareness, the classic Faith vibe is out again in full force, and select retailers will be offering store-wide promotions on Evolved Novelties products, the company says.

The Prevail personal massager, designed by Kendra Wilkinson in collaboration with Evolved Novelties and coming out under the Love Candy brand, is a slim toy that comes in black or white, with a pink ribbon design signifying the buyer’s commitment to breast cancer research. Each purchase automatically donates funds to the Save the Ta-tas foundation, which directly funds the fight for the cure. This multi-function, multi-speed vibe is packaged in a satin drawstring bag that fits inside a faux leather case for discreet storage or travel.

“The Prevail is a great slim toy for any woman,” says Marcus West, marketing director at Evolved Novelties. “And just knowing part of the purchase funds research makes you feel twice as good about buying it! It’s the perfect product for Kendra’s debut into novelties, because not only is it a great starter toy, but it also gives back to an important women’s cause through Save the Ta-tas, who are committed to growing more each year.”

The primary focus of Save the Ta-tas is to support groundbreaking projects of independent cancer researchers. In mid-2012 the organization announced funding for its fifth independent cancer researcher for a two year grant cycle. With the support of customers, retailers, philanthropic partners, licensees and independent community fundraisers, Save the Ta-tas continues to provide funding for additional researchers.

Evolved Novelties is hosting an auction on E-bay, offering up a signed copy of Kendra Wilkinson’s bestselling book “Being Kendra,” a romance-enhancing Love Candy Collection kit signed by Kendra, and a Swarovski crystal-encrusted vibe. To access the auction, visit EvolvedWorld.com and click on the E-bay auction to enter.

Evolved’s Faith vibe is also available for purchase with proceeds benefitting the foundation. Faith comes in black and white with a pink ribbon design and has been on the market for two years.

“Women who have undergone cancer treatment often feel emotionally and physically depleted,” says Lucy Vonne D’Olimpio, sales executive and resident “Toy Whisperer” at Evolved Novelties. “Doctors will sometimes recommend cuddling and touching exercises to bring back sensual feelings, to help begin healing. Our toys really help with that, bringing a focus and some fun into the exploration process.”

There are three Evolved products that continually donate to the cause, but for the month of October, select retailers will also be offering donations to Save the Ta-tas for every Evolved Novelties purchase they make.

“The Prevail and Faith, as well as the 1-oz. size cleaner donate to Save the Ta-tas all year round,” Evolved Novelties President Greg Alves said. “But for October specifically we’ll have select retailers donating proceeds from every Evolved Novelties toy they sell. It’s our way of showing that we are committed to women’s health and well-being.”

Retailers will be advertising the Evolved Novelties Breast Cancer Research campaign with signage and displays, also letting consumers know about Save The Ta-tas.
