Bondara.co.uk Looks at Holiday Sex Habits

CYBERSPACE — Bondara.co.uk finds out what is it about the festive season that makes couples want to get sexual.

Referencing an article published in 1999 by the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine, Bondara.co.uk says that a quartet of British public health researchers went so far as to liken the Christmas-New Year's period to a "festival on fertility."

The number of case studies have also linked that the change of climate is the cause. “The seasonal patterns are the reason why our sex drive peaks over Christmas and to why so many women conceive this time of year,” the company said in a press release.

“The period from Christmas to the New Year is associated with increased opportunities for socializing and a generally more hedonistic approach to life.”- Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine

"Nearly twice as many people have turned down offers of sex because the temperature was too high than have turned down offers of sex because the temperature was too low." – Daily Beast

Men also have a big part to play as there sperm count is usually higher in winter when the temperature is cooler, this allows them to increase blood circulation and produce more testosterone.

A case study that supports the argument is the “UK Lifestyle and environmental contribution to male infertility” which was carried out by Richard M Sharpe from, MRC Human Reproductive Sciences Unit, Centre for Reproductive Biology, Edinburgh. He tested the semen quality of farm animals and sperm counts of men from a range of colder climates (Finland, Denmark, Scotland) and more equatorial regions (New Orleans, USA) which concluded a reduced semen quality in the summer months for the farm animals and a similar fall in sperm counts for the men.

Bondara.co.uk has put a list of suggestions that would be ideal for you and your partner to try this Christmas.
