NEW YORK — Gay website DominicFord.com announced today the upcoming release of its new porn-horror parody "Silence of the Cams," starring Trenton Ducati (pictured) and Tate Ryder.
A spoof of the 1991 Academy Award-winning thriller "Silence of the Lambs," with a nod to internet slashers, "Cams" follows a rookie FBI agent as he consults with a notorious cannibal to gain information on a web-cam killer.
Ducati and Ryder topline the feature as "Clarice" and "Hannibel Lector," respectively.
"This will be the best piece of work our company has produced in our five-year existence," Dominic Ford said. "I am very excited to get it out."
"Silence of the Cams" is currently in post-production. Dominic Ford will release the feature — its first since "Whorrey Potter and the Sorcerer's Balls" — as a two-disc DVD set and on Blu-ray.
The parody is slated for summer release and will be made available on 3D and standard formats. It will also stream at SilenceOfTheCams.com and DominicFord.com.
Co-stars include Topher DiMaggio, Angel Rock, Jake Genesis, Seth Knight, Lance Luciano, Jessie Colter, Casey More and Dominic Ford exclusive Bryce Evans round out the cast.
DominicFord.com was named Gay Web Company of the Year at the 2013 XBIZ Awards Show, while Ducati took home the trophy for Gay Performer of the Year.
"It was natural that we would look to work with each other after that night," Ford said. "I am really glad we were able to find a movie that was able to show off all of Trenton's talents."
