“Planned Parenthood serves as an essential resource for women throughout the United States,” Young said. “It provides accessible, non-judgmental services and information to women without health insurance, including pap-smears, birth control, and breast exams. As a freelance artist, small business owner, and feminist porn performer and director, all of my 20s were spent uninsured. I was grateful for the excellent resources and care Planned Parenthood provided to me personally and what they continue to provide to many of my friends, models, colleagues, and much of my community. I’m happy to support their organization however and whenever possible.”
Young is currently making her mark with fans of Girlfriends Films as a director. Titles helmed by Young include “Lesbian Sex Education: Female Ejaculation,” “Lesbian Sex Education: Strap-On” and “Fixed Gears, Fast Girls.”
“I take great pride in directing and working for Girlfriends Films,” Young said. “Girlfriends Films creates space for high quality production values featuring women who truly love women. As a feminist, activist, and queer identified woman, I too love women and have a shared passion for promoting the health, wellness, and empowerment of women driven by communities.
"Girlfriends Films’ Charity Program is brilliant. It empowers performers and directors, offering an opportunity to create some small change in the world, opening the forum for female performers to discuss social issues, while offering us a chance to give back. We call all make a difference in the world and in our communities, whether through volunteer work, community organizations, or supporting existing non-profit community resources. I hope GFF’s program inspires more adult industry companies to take an interest in supporting charitable organizations.”
