Babeland Brings 2 European Vibrators to U.S. Market

OAKLAND, Calif. — Women-friendly toy retailer Babeland has added two vibrators to its catalog that were previously available only in Europe.

According to Babeland purchasing director Joyce Solano, the vibrators offer innovations previously unavailable to American consumers.

"These toys are a perfect addition to the Babeland product line,” Solano said. “As a company we are always looking for new innovations in sex toy technology and we are committed to providing our customers with top-quality products. The Je Joue and iBuzz fit the bill on both fronts."

Described as the “sex toy equivalent of an Al Green tune,” the Je Joue is a sonically-driven toy designed to mimic the unpredictable patterns of foreplay.

The toy vibrates according to 10 pre-programmed “grooves” — vibrations patterns. Users can opt for patterns that range from “Quickie,” which builds to climax within five minutes, to “Rock,” which gradually builds up steam over a 20-minute period.

Users looking for a more interactive experience can create their own “grooves” and share them online at JeJoue.com.

Billed as “the sexiest iPod accessory available,” the iBuzz translates music into sensual vibrations. Users need only hook the controller to their pants, connect it to their iPods and press play.

The iBuzz can also be operated without a music source.

The company will sell both toys at its Seattle, New York and Los Angeles stores, as well as online at Babeland.com.

The Je Joue retails for $290; the iBuzz sells for $55.
