Porn Viewing Habits Can Be Exposed for BlackBerry Z10 Users

WATERLOO, Canada — The new BlackBerry Z10 has got a fixable porn problem.

Those who choose to share what songs they're listening to using BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) are also sharing what they are watching — and that could be porn.

BlackBerry reps say that all Media Player activity can be shared with a user's BBM contacts, and those who don't want to share can just disable the feature by toggling on the "Show What I'm Listening to" slider.

BlackBerry site CrackBerry first noted the possible problem, alerting users to the device that "if you're watching porn, well, your BBM contacts are going to see what site you're watching it on — and exactly when you're watching it...."

The new BlackBerry Z10 — longer, wider and thicker than the iPhone 5 — features no physical keyboard or any physical buttons, setting it apart from other smartphones and all previous BlackBerry devices.
