As a testament to her fame, crossover mainstream appeal and iconic status within the adult entertainment industry, the world-renowned wax sculpture museum will make Jameson the first-ever pornstar to be enshrined in wax in its more than 200 year history.
Madame Tussauds decides which personalities to honor with wax sculptures based on visitor input, according to Jack Taylor of Madame Tussauds.
“We take regular surveys from our visitors as to who they would like to see in wax,” Taylor told XBIZ. “From there, the management in London has a discussion and final say. Our attitude is to recognize famous people and Jenna is a big star and very famous.”
Jameson, a Las Vegas native, will be on hand to personally unveil her figure in a special ceremony on Aug. 2 at 11 a.m. The unveiling will take place at Madame Tussauds location in Las Vegas in the Big Night Room #3355 in The Venetian Hotel & Resort. She will be available for photographs with her wax likeness and for interviews following the event.
Wax figures at Tussauds include historical and royal figures and world leaders, politicians, musicians, film stars, sports stars and other famous personalities. Madam Tussauds operates branches in Amsterdam, Hong Kong, London, New York and Las Vegas.
