LOS ANGELES — Derek Meklir has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer of LFP, Inc./Flynt Management Group, LFP/FMG President Michael H. Klein announced Wednesday.
Meklir, who will report to Klein, comes to FMG from five years at Playboy Enterprises, where he served as vice president - strategic partnerships. Chief among his responsibilities was managing Playboy’s largest partnership, Manwin, which spanned television, radio and online. He also managed and developed Playboy’s digital magazine strategy.
“Derek is the perfect addition to our management team,” Klein said. “His experience in product management, business development, partner relationships and multiple delivery platforms will serve us well.”
Prior to his time at Playboy, Meklir spent six years at SK Intertainment, Inc. – MrSkin.com as vice president of business development & marketing. Previously, he held management positions at Vantage Associates and Globix Corporation.
