Liberator Inks Australian Distro Deal With Calvista

ATLANTA — Liberator Inc. announced today a distribution deal with Calvista to distribute its products in Australia and New Zealand.

Liberator said it officially launched in the Oceanic nations at the Adultex  trade show hosted by Calvista at the Royal Pines Resort in Gold Coast, Queensland. The show featured delegates from every major retail outlet Calvista services.

Between Adultex and market-based research conducted through one-on-one interviews with buyers, Calvista has agreed to bring on Liberator’s top 15 SKUs. The first container of Liberator goods is on the water and most of the products will be sold before the container reaches Australia.

"We feel that the response is going to be great and that our customers will truly appreciate the Liberator brand and what it stands for," Calvista CEO Michael Basset said. "We are committed to making it a success and look forward to many years of great sales together."

Liberator noted that its compression packaging has played a large role in its ability to meet worldwide demands, with Australia being no exception. The reduced size in packaging allows for lower shipping costs and an increased number of products per shipping pallet.

"After traveling to Australia and meeting Michael and his team there was no question that these were the people Liberator needed to partner with,” Liberator executive vice president Michael Kane said.

He added, “Their professionalism and passion for the brand coupled with their reach made them the obvious choice. After attending Adultex, I am very confident that the Australian market will prove to be an exciting opportunity for the Liberator brand.”
