Wasteland.com Debuts Digital Magazine

BOSTON — Colin Rowntree’s Wasteland.com empire has announced its expansion with the introduction of Wasteland Digital Magazine on adult newsstand SkinMagz.com.

The company describes the magazine as the "first-ever explicit BDSM digital publication."

Rowntree said the advent of tablets and mobile phones have vaulted the digital magazine market into high gear. He saw this as an opportunity to add another digital avenue for Wasteland’s exclusive content distribution.

Wasteland digital magazine joins Hustler, Evil Angel, Penthouse and other top adult companies and publishers who have added digital publications on SkinMagz.com.

The quarterly hardcore magazine features photo sets (some debuting before appearing on Wasteland.com proper), videos, instructional BDSM features, fiction, amateurs and more.

Wasteland magazine was created and is being published in conjunction with adult publishing and production company Pentagram Media, whose principal RJJ, serves as co-publisher and editorial director.

“This is another exciting venture for Wasteland and we’re excited to be the first true BDSM digital magazine catering to the fetish community,” Rowntree said. “We have always been on the forefront of technology and this marks yet another milestone for Wasteland.”

Co-publisher RJJ noted that the magazine offers BDSM aficionados a new tablet and mobile-ready experience in a familiar and friendly print-like package — but with the bells and whistles digital publishing delivers.

“Having on-the-go content from the leading fetish website lets users be entertained with new content and video without having to click through a traditional website.  It also lets advertisers reach a new generation of fans and consumers used to immediate page-by-page social media gratification,” RJJ said.

The publication will be promoted to Wasteland’s impressive membership each month and carries advertising from major adult companies including GameLink and more that enjoy embedded links in each of their ads.

Special charter advertising rates are being offered for a limited time. For information email  WastelandMagazine@gmail.com.
