Exhibitors Praise ANME

BURBANK, Calif. — From every corner of the ANME Show floor, exhibitors praised organizers for a successful event that brought together new and repeat participants for an expanded edition of the biannual manufacturers’ trade show.

Nasstoys President Elliott Schwartz told XBIZ that the weekend’s ANME Show brought increased traffic to his booth, with attendees “flowing through” the show’s three rooms of exhibitors.

“The show was really fantastic,” Elliott said. “As soon as the bell rang, everyone filed into the exhibitor floors. Val did a tremendous job with the setup, and I really think she and her team should be commended. ANME had a great selling atmosphere and everything was conducive to business. We picked up new costumers and met with existing ones — all in all, it was an excellent show.”

Evolved Novelties debuted newly rebranded lines including its line of Zero Tolerance Toys. In place of porn stars and humorous adult imagery, ZT products now feature cleaner, couples-friendly packaging. Evolved also is refocusing on bringing its Love Candy by Kendra line into adult stores and boutiques.

“The response has been incredibly favorable at the show,” Evolved Novelties’ Marcus West said. “Everyone is excited about bringing Kendra into their stores. We’re working on marketing material that can be utilized in storefronts and on walls inside the store. The Adam & Eve line was also a big hit — Adam & Eve really is like the Nike of adult. It’s the most recognizable brand next to Trojan.”

CB-X showcased its range of male chastity devices with a summer special on its new Points of Intrigue accessory kit that kicked off at ANME.

“We’ve had a great response at the show,” CB-X’s Nikki Yates said. “Everyone likes a show special, and I’m happy to pass along the savings to our customers.”

Vibratex, which is celebrating its 30 years in business this year, debuted updated looks on some of its iconic items and presented a new trio of rechargeable egg vibes that are yet to be named. Vibratex’s Eddie Romero said that the unnamed vibes will be part of a luxury line that the company is currently working on finding the perfect marketing pitch for.

“We got really positive feedback on our new products and our placement in the tent was perfect — we were really visible,” Romero said. “Attendees are still really excited about the updated look of the Magic Wand and there was a lot of buzz for Vibratex’s other new releases.”

Vibratex Vice President Shay Martin said that every ANME Show since the beginning has been a positive experience for Vibratex.

“It always goes so well for us,” she said. “It just can’t be topped — every show is great. It was even better this time with the expanded exhibitor space, it was great to have such a variety of products displayed.”
