CalExotics Named Manufacturer of the Year by StorErotica

LOS ANGELES  California Exotic Novelties won StorErotica’s Novelty Company of the Year Award.

Held at the recent July 2013 ANME Show on Sunday, July 15, the StorErotica Awards celebrate the finest in the adult novelty industry.

“We are absolutely blown away by this award,” said Susan Colvin, president and CEO of California Exotic Novelties.

“The entire CalExotics team works hard to provide the most innovative products with the fastest fulfillment rate, the lowest return rate, which are supported with the most comprehensive sales and marketing tools we can offer. We thank Kris Kay, Lacy Empkey, and the entire gang at StorErotica for this wonderful honor. The StorErotica Awards Show was impeccably orchestrated and we appreciate all their hard work and dedication.”

Jackie White, vice president of sales for California Exotic Novelties, said, “Oh my God this is so exciting. We love the honor. Thank you StorErotica. The award was the icing on the cake for us as we had an amazing time at the ANME Show. It was great seeing all our friends and associates and displaying our newest products and collections, which are found in our big, black book — the CalExotics Super Catalog.”

ANME attendees who visited the CalExotics trade show booth got the industry’s first look at the new items and collections. Among the highlights were: Scandal, Embrace, Entice, Enchanted and Sexy Little Panties.

New products in Adonis, Body & Soul, COLT, Dr. Laura Berman, Dr. Joel Kaplan, First Time, Kisses, Love Rider, Precision Pumps and UP! also received rave reviews. Some of the most talked-about products include the Lover’s Remote in the Embrace Collection — which turned heads because the controller can also be used as a massager, providing a wide assortment of play options.

The Adonis Mesh Thongs with C-Ring are also unique with a built-in ring. Additionally the soft, cushy, comfortable restraints and the brocade pattern of the products in the Scandal Collection received a lot of attention from visitors.

Al Bloom, senior director of business affairs for California Exotic Novelties, said, “We wrapped up another incredibly successful ANME Show. Thank you to everyone who attended, to the great folks at StorErotica, and to Val and the ANME staff for a flawless event. If anyone missed anything, or needs more information about our Visual Merchandising Plans, product videos, Where to Buy Section, Club CalExotics, Find-A-Vibe, or our premiere newsletter—The Toy Time Express, let us know. We’re here to help."
