VENICE, Calif. — Sovereign Syre is wrapping up her sophomore directorial work, "Girls in Heat" this week.
The film features a scene with Dana Vespoli. Syre said she feels like everyone really delivered in the movie for Filly Films, which will star Vanessa Veracruz, Reena Sky, Roxy Lotus/Natasha Malkova, Aaliyah Love, Dana, Ela Darling and Keira Kelly.
Once "Girls in Heat" is in the can she’ll be heading out to New York City where she’ll be working on a movie for Juicy Pink Box/Jincey Lumpkin.
“Jincey only produces a movie or so a year and they are beautiful little gems of editorial style lesbian erotica,” Syre said. “I'm really happy to get this chance to work with her.”
She is also slated to work with Jiz Lee and April O'Neil.
“I met April on the set of my third movie and have been trying to get in a scene with her ever since,” Syre said.
This past week she filmed a girl/girl scene for Manuel Ferrara, a two-day shoot that allowed her to “do some things I’d never done before.”
"I was really happy with my performance and to be a part of something that is going to be really cool," she said.
