HiddenToolBox Exceeds Funding Goal

LOS ANGELES — The developers of HiddenToolbox, a software suite designed to protect end users privacy, reported that it has exceeded its funding goal on crowd fund site Indiegogo.

The developers of HiddenToolbox aim to put privacy back into the hands of the end user with their crowd funded privacy software suite which they say secures files by making them invisible to other users, with the HiddenToolbox program itself also being invisible.

The company said the software promises tight security, even if the files are stored on the cloud services such as Dropbox, where many users tend to over look just how vulnerable their files can be.

“Our software also includes special online services such as remote destruction of data which can be initiated from any web enabled device, so normally there’s an annual fee, however we decided to reward users with unique lifetime licenses, giving online services and updates of the product for life, these licenses are only available for a very limited time on Indiegogo and have proved to be very popular, they definitely helped us reach our funding goal,” said Brian Wickes, head of business development.

“HiddenToolbox said is rather unique as it combines a host of tools to ensure that files are not only kept hidden and private, but that they can be played, viewed, managed and organized all within the same secure environment, to guarantee the highest level of privacy, something no other software has managed to achieve.”

It is still possible to back the project to receive a lifetime license, or a 30-day full version for $5, which gives the user a full credit if they buy the product at a later date.
