PinkCherry Posts Record Sales for July

OAKVILLE, Ontario — Canadian online sex toy retailer PinkCherry.com today announced an all-time record month in sales for July, the highest since the site’s launch in 2008.

A company spokesperson told XBIZ that PinkCherry posted a 28 percent increase in sales for the month, noting that although it’s been experiencing strong growth, the increase is remarkable considering the company’s mere five year presence in the sex toy industry.

“We are even more excited because July is typically slower for the entire sex toy industry,” CEO Daniel Freedman, said. “Usually, when the weather is hot, business is cold, but even with people on vacation and enjoying the nicer weather, we are clearly able to inspire our customers with exciting new products at affordable prices, all year round.”

Company owners and brothers Daniel and Nathaniel Freedman attribute their thriving success to customer service philosophies that they say maintain the satisfaction and loyalty of every customer. They also associate their growth to the “Fifty Shades of Grey” worldwide phenomenon. PinkCherry is the exclusive Canadian distributor of the “Fifty Shades of Grey Official Pleasure Collection.”

The company noted that it also offers 12,000 products from its 25,000 square foot warehouse, and lists at least a dozen new products daily, some as low as $2, available to ship to Canada and to the continental U.S. within 24 hours upon ordering.

PinkCherry also operates a wholesale division, PinkCherryWholesale.ca, that also saw a record month in July, lead by national account manager, Sophia Springer. In addition, it recently hired a bilingual customer service representative to meet consumer demands.

“We’re absolutely thrilled because this proves that our customers return to PinkCherry because of our extremely quick shipping, easy online ordering and quality products,” Freedman added. “Our customers absolutely love us, our suppliers love us and our competitors...well, two out of three ain’t bad," he quipped.
