LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Times has published an in-depth report about former Hollywood executive Richard Nanula, who abruptly left his post as chairman of Miramax in June after compromising photos of he and adult star Samantha Saint appeared on the gossip blog, The Dirty.com.
The site later retracted the photos, but not before the news had reached several mainstream sites, including the LA Times. The photos originally were posted on adult performer Trinity St. Clair's website, despite Saint's exclusive contract with Wicked, according to reports.
In an article titled "The spectacular rise and surprising exit of a Hollywood executive" that will also appear on the cover of the LA Times' Sunday Business section, reporter Daniel Miller details Nanula's personal background, his extensive business dealings and the alleged activities in which he was involved that sparked the scandal.
