LOS ANGELES – Michele Goodman, a pleasure products industry vet of more than 10 years, died on Aug. 17 after a battle with cancer.
Industry colleague Karen Raehpour of Big Teaze Toys made the following announcement via social media:
“It's with a heavy heart that I share the following news. One of our industry own, Michele Goodman, passed away last Saturday. Michele worked at Wet International/Trigg Labs for me and Michael Trigg from 2001-2006. It was an awesome team: Jesse Vasquez of Holiday Products, Carmen Mortazavi of California Fantasies, Ernie Johnson still COO there. She later worked at Eldorado Trading Company for Larry Garland. She was a gracious woman, tenacious sales lady, and a friend to many of us.”
Synergy Erotic President Bob Wolf also memorialized Goodman’s legacy online: “I am terribly saddened by the news; Michele leaves a legacy of warmth, caring, and tenderness. I know I am just one of many she touched in such a wonderful way; the world is diminished without her presence.”
With more than 10 years in the adult toy and novelty industry, as well as a successful stint running her own business, Goodman served as a sales executive for Eldorado, MD Science Labs and Trigg Laboratories.
A celebration of Goodman’s life will be held tomorrow – Tuesday, Aug. 27 at the Onyx Lounge from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Onyx Lounge is located at 118 W. 5th Street. in downtown Los Angeles. For additional information, call Goodman’s daughter Nikki at (310) 367-8068.
