Entrenue Makes $1K Donation to Society of St. Vincent de Paul

PHOENIX — Entrenue has donated $1,000 to charity on behalf of Idaho-based retailer Karnations Intimate Apparel, the winner of the semi-annual International Lingerie Show raffle held in support of respected non-profits across the country.

The adult boutique chain picked the winning ticket and chose this year’s donation recipient to be the Pocatello, Idaho, chapter of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

Community support and service is a key part of Entrenue’s business plan, and the company launched this charity raffle to make it easy and interactive for its loyal customers to join the effort. Each year, two entrants win the opportunity to select a charity to receive a $1,000 donation and this year, Karnations Intimate Apparel was the second 2013 winner and opted to support an organization that provides vital services to those in need.

Adam & Eve of Boise and Nampa, Idaho, was the year’s first winner and chose to support the local Women’s and Children’s Alliance organization’s mission to provide services to those affected by domestic abuse and sexual assault.

“The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is near and dear to our hearts, as we donate to the Phoenix branch on a regular basis,” Entrenue President Joe Casella said. “This organization offers food service; emergency financial, housing and health support; educational programs; and a variety of valuable assistance programs for the less fortunate. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul makes an impressive impact on the country and we’re happy and proud to make this donation on behalf of our friends at Karnations Intimate Apparel.”

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul promotes person-to-person service to individuals in need. Through interactive education programs, charity dining rooms, gratis health care for the working poor, transitional housing shelters, and other essential services, the Society touches approximately 12 million people in the United States every year.
