Eurowebtainment Trade Fair Turns 10

BERLIN — Eurowebtainment, one of Europe’s largest trade fairs for Internet entertainment and telecommunications, is readying for its 10th anniversary show set to kick off Oct. 19-20 at Hotel Estrel in Berlin.

Eurowebtainment features programs similar to its American counterparts, such as legal, technology and business seminars as well as late-night socializing.

Show organizers say the event focuses evenly on both networking and educational seminars to maximize the productivity of its attendees.

The signature networking event for the show is speed networking, which returns again on Oct. 19. The gathering has proven to be effective in getting show attendees in one place and have them meet as many new people as possible within the shortest amount of time. Speed networking is a two-hour event.

On the second day of the event, organizers have planned a webmaster forum. This event is business focused and features a number of different educational events including workshops, roundtable discussions, seminars and legal advice.

For webmasters looking to party, Eurowebtainment has two planned: a welcome party at Hotel Estrel the day before the show begins and a VIP party on Oct. 19 that features dinner, entertainment, special guests and the crowning of Miss Eurowebtainment.

Registration for the show is open, and the conference has reserved rooms in the hotel for visiting guests.
