LOS ANGELES — Stockroom, a leading manufacturer of high-end BDSM gear, has been nominated for nine 2014 XBIZ Awards.

Its pretigious nominations include Fetish Pleasure Product of the Year (Bolero Straightjacket), Specialty Pleasure Product of the Year (Deluxe Padded Medical Restraints), Sensual Accessory Product/Line of the Year (Glovelettes),  Soft Bondage Line of the Year (KinkLab), BDSM Pleasure Products Company of the Year, Retail Affiliate Program of the Year, Retailer of the Year – Boutique, Online Retailer of the Year – Specialty (Stockroom.com) and Distributor of the Year.

“It’s a big year for us as we prepare to celebrate our 25th Anniversary in 2014. This is truly an amazing way to end the year, learning that we’ve been nominated for a record nine XBIZ Awards,” said Shawn Gentry, director of operations at Stockroom. “We couldn’t be more proud and are very thankful for the support of our peers.”

The Stockroom says it is getting ready for the holiday season with the launch of its annual Black Friday and SEXmas sales. This New Year’s Eve, Stockroom will also kick off their yearlong 25th anniversary celebration with a bash in Hollywood and a year’s worth of special events and promotions.

Joel Tucker founded The Stockroom, Inc. in 1988 and took it online in 1989, making the company one of the world’s first e-commerce enterprises. The fetish manufacturer and retailer operates from a 30,000 square foot space on Los Angeles’ Sunset Boulevard that combines leather and latex workshops, executive offices, and a retail boutique that was named one of the Best Sex Shops in the World by Playboy.com.

The Stockroom's BDSM gear has appeared on “American Horror Story,” “True Blood,” Playboy TV's “Foursome,” “The Tonight Show,” and TMZ.
