‘On Air With Club CalExotics’ Radio Show Premieres Today

LOS ANGELES — CalExotics today launches the first satellite sex toy radio show, “On Air With Club CalExotics” on Vivid Radio, SiriusXM channel 102.

The hour-long weekly program starts at 4 p.m., PST.

“On Air with Club CalExotics” will feature the latest in pleasure product news and information, interviews with the foremost authorities in sexuality, interactive questions and answer sessions, plus contests through the online community Club CalExotics.

Susan Colvin, President and CEO of California Exotic Novelties, says, “We’re excited to be part of the new Vivid Radio team. I know with Stephen Hirsch, founder and co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment, at the reins, this new station will be amazing. We’re looking forward to making history as the first pleasure product company with its very own satellite radio program!”

On Air with Club CalExotics will be hosted by Sheena Metal. Host of “The Sheena Metal Experience” and three other programs which are heard on LA Talk Radio, Metal also helmed five shows for KLSX 97.1. She frequently featured California Exotic Novelties products and guests on her show, and helped facilitate the company’s sponsorship of charitable theater productions, CalExotics says.

“Sheena Metal was the first name who came to mind to host the show,” said Desiree Duffie, director of public relations for California Exotic Novelties who will also serve as executive producer of “On Air with Club CalExotics.” “Sheena is super-smart, funny, and sexually savvy about pleasure products. Her interviewing skills are top-notch and she knows how to engage listeners like she’s their best friend. This is going to be great radio!”

Metal says, “What a thrill and honor to host On Air with CalExotics. Susan Colvin is a pioneer in making pleasure products for women and couples, and now she’s a pioneer with the first sex toy talk show on satellite radio. I’m so happy to be on her team and can’t wait to bring positive sex toy information to Vivid Radio’s listeners.”

Vivid Radio will be broadcast live from Vivid’s L.A. headquarters. Other programming will feature the Vivid Girls, celebrity sex tape star Phil Varone — who also has the Sex, Toys and Rock and Roll Collection of products with CalExotics — and other top adult performers. The channel’s content will cover the entire spectrum of sexy entertainment.
