Mia Isabella Receives XBIZ Awards Nom for Transsexual Site of the Year

LOS ANGELES — Mia Isabella has received a nomination for Transsexual Site of the Year for the 2014 XBIZ Awards for her online destination, mia-isabella.com.

This is Isabella’s fourth year for XBIZ nominations, and she hopes her XBIZ winning streak is still going strong.

“It never ceases to amaze me when I’m honored with a nomination, and after three consecutive XBIZ wins for Best Adult Novelty Line, Performer of the Year, and TS DVD of the Year for my movie 'Want Some Honey 2,' I am once again amazed,” Isabella said. “It’s a huge honor, and I want to thank XBIZ. It is truly a pleasure to be considered amongst the top entertainers in the world in my genre, and I’m proud of all of the girls who made the list.”

The Chicago native recently broke barriers as the first transsexual performer to lend her voice to a video game, "Grand Theft Auto V," presented by Rock Star Games and Take Two Interactive.

Isabella will also be featured in two photography books: one for Haus of Se7en, to be released next month, and another for Dave Naz, which will be released in 2014. The project with Naz will come with a companion documentary.

Isabella recently returned to shooting hardcore for her website, after a one-year-plus absence, with performer Cliff Jensen for a three-part mini-series.

The XBIZ Awards will be on Jan. 24 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, Calif.
