Jimmyjane Adds Alina Oniga to Sales Team

SAN FRANCISCO — Industry vet Alina Oniga has joined Jimmyjane as a sales account executive.

Oniga will focus on growing new and existing retail partnerships for Jimmyjane whose portfolio of partners ranges from design showrooms and lingerie shops to adult stores and sex-positive retailers worldwide. The addition of Oniga to the team follows the recent hire of Alicia Sinclair as vice president of worldwide sales and business development.

“With the growth of the sales team we will continue to broaden our reach in wholesale and evolve our relationships with retailers in the U.S. and abroad. We’re very excited to have Alina on board. She is a valuable asset with years of experience and deep relationships. I am looking forward to strengthening partnerships and developing greater brand awareness together," Sinclair said.

Oniga brings a mix of event marketing and sales experience to Jimmyjane that will contribute to her work with accounts and tradeshow events. With more than five years of experience in the pleasure products industry, Oniga previously held the position of international sales account manager at Topco Sales. In that role, she she was known for exemplary service and personalized attention to detail and execution, the company said.

“I am thrilled to work for such a truly dynamic company comprised of talented people and innovative products. It is a pleasure and honor to come on board with the goal of helping to expand and cement Jimmyjane as an industry leader.”

Jimmyjane offers the FORM 2 vibrator, which launched in 2009 as part of the flagship FORM line and remains a top seller for the brand, the company said. In January 2013 Jimmyjane launched the Hello Touch wearable vibrator, exceeding sales expectations and  receiving press  coverage, from The Today Show, The Rachael Ray  Show,  GQ and Cosmopolitan, among others.

This month, Men’s Health U.K. pointed to Jimmyjane as one of its “24 Biggest Trends in Health for 2014.”

Jimmyjane’s  founder and Chief Creative Officer Ethan Imboden said, “It has been over 10 years since I attended my first ANME Show and decided to create Jimmyjane. It is incredible to see how far we have come as a company and an industry – together we’re making great progress. I’m excited to see the excellence and attention we bring to our product design extended through our sales team. Alina  s a terrific addition and will contribute significantly to a banner year in 2014.”
