SAN FRANCISCO — Adult retailer Good Vibrations has announced the grand opening party for its eight and newest store in downtown San Francisco.
Proximal to Union Square, the party will kick off Feb. 7, from 4-7 p.m.
The event promises snacks and refreshments, giveaways courtesy of the store’s spinable “Wheel of Pleasure” and special deals on merchandise throughout the day.
Ten percent of the evening’s proceeds will benefit The Women’s Community Clinic.
The upscale lifestyle boutique, located on 189 Kearny Street near the Montgomery BART stop, offers pleasure products and lingerie and accoutrements to “explore, educate and empower one's sex life and sexual health,” the company said in a release.
"It feels fantastic to bring our unique brand of quality products and sex education to the Financial District and Union Square neighborhoods of San Francisco,” said Jackie Strano, executive vice president for Good Vibrations.
Strano continued, “World renowned as an epicenter of culture, theater, restaurant, hotel and shopping destinations, we proudly take our place alongside some of San Francisco's old world charm mixed with modern sophistication. Locals and tourists alike will be able to engage with our brand of sex positivity at this prime location."
Founded in 1977 by a couples' therapist who wanted to help pre-orgasmic women, Good Vibrations promotes the philosophy of “pleasure to the people.” For more information, visit GoodVibes.com.
