“For No Cover Productions, all the wraps come off — literally,” 3MD’s Greg Wynn told XBIZ. “This studio features awesome men in blistering bareback scenes. There’s no specific theme or location, but we will feature a little beefier guys as opposed to smooth twinks. We intend to cover a few different niches, but the common theme will be no condoms.”
To jumpstart the studio, 3MD has inked a deal with a prominent European director that prefers to remain anonymous. The director shoots for all of 3MD’s lines that follow different niches, such as twink, muscle stud, ethnic and more. Once they receive the footage, the staff at 3MD decides under what studio the footage belongs in.
“Our different studios try to cover a lot of different niches,” Wynn said. “This allows us to handle a lot of different content, put it in its proper place, and then customers know where to look for it on a recurring basis.”
Wynn said No Cover wouldn’t adhere to a strict release schedule, instead releasing movies as it receives enough content to compose a full-length movie.
The first DVD under the No Cover label is “Bareback Surveillance: Someone’s Watching.” Filmed in the Czech Republic, the movie follows an espionage storyline with the cast comprised mostly of college-age men. Half the film was shot in a Prague fitness center with scenes including boxing, weight training and karate.
The other studios that comprise 3MD are Stable Entertainment, Stable International, Drive Productions, Anaconda Studios, 11EEE Productions, L.A. Heat Video and R.C. Men Productions.
