TORONTO — PinkCherry Adult Toys compiled a list of the top cities in Canada purchasing sex toys, adult novelties and lingerie.
Looking at sales over a one year period (Jan. 1, 2013 through Dec. 31, 2013) PinkCherry was able to determine which cities ordered the most number of times per capita. They then divided the amount of orders in each region by the number of people who live there (over 18 and according to the census) to reveal the average amount of orders per head.
The three cities whose residents ordered the most during the given period were Victoria, B.C., Grande Prairie, AB and Fredricton, NB. Moncton, NB came in at a close fourth.
According to related statistics gleaned during the same period, the top novelty purchases across Canada were bullet vibrators, lubricant and rabbit style vibrators. Another apparently strong product was the Magic Wand, which was originally marketed as a body massager in the 70s.
