Ron Jeremy, Sean Michaels, Alexis Amore and Jesse Jane appeared as presenters, with KSEX Radio’s Tony Batman serving as the master of ceremonies for the show.
The fan-focused event was founded in 1993 as a small, local Florida awards show called the Central Florida Adult Entertainment Awards Show with Ron Jeremy and Kelly O’Dell serving as co-hosts. The show, sponsored by Nightmoves Magazine, has expanded each year.
Nightmoves announced two winners in each category — one for its editorial staff; the other is the result of fans’ votes.
Winners in key categories included:
Adult star Tommy Gunn was surprised at winning best new director. Gunn has directed a handful of titles.
“There are so many talented directors out there doing things that I really admire,” Gunn told XBIZ. “I’m really surprised to be getting this award but I am honored, and I will except it on behalf of all the directors I look up to. I look forward to a future with many other accomplishments. All the people in this great industry are truly an inspiration to me to do better.”
Other awards included the Anna Malle Triple Play Award for excellence in acting, directing and feature dancing, which went to Wicked Pictures exclusive Stormy Daniels, and the Lifetime Achievement Award bestowed upon Randy Spears.
