WASHINGTON — The Food and Drug Administration has issued a new advisory warning for Weekend Warrior, a product promoted and sold for sexual enhancement on various websites and in some retail stores.
FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that Weekend Warrior contains an undeclared ingredient, thiosildenafil, a substance structurally similar to the active ingredient in the FDA-approved prescription drug Viagra.
"Consumers should stop using this product immediately and throw it away," the FDA said. "Consumers who have experienced any negative side effects should consult a health care professional as soon as possible."
