LONDON — U.K. filmmaker Ben Dover and his wife, former adult glamour model Linzi Drew, have been interviewed for a new BBC documentary about the porn industry.
Tyger Drew-Honey, who interviewed them, actually is the son of the pair.
The teenager, the star of the BBC One sitcom "Outnumbered," is making the film as part of a series of programs about issues that affect young people.
In the documentary, Drew-Honey also interviews a student who pays her way through school by performing on a webcam.
Dover’s career has spanned four decades and across the globe where he is known for his wry humor, comic sidekicks and gonzo style.
A pioneer of the handheld camera porn genre, Dover was one of the first signings to Television X when the channel launched back in 1995. He still continues to release films internationally.
Drew, Dover's wife, was once the editor of the British edition of Penthouse magazine and regularly modeled in adult magazines until retiring from it.
Dover told the Independent: "Obviously producers thought if any young person is going to do a documentary about the sex industry then it has to be Tyger because his parents were involved in it."
Drew-Honey's series, called "Eye Of The Tyger," will debut later this year on the BBC Three and then be available for streaming online.
