Redzone Pictures and the UK Adult Producers Trade Association have teamed up to organize the UK Adult Film Awards, which spokesman Kizzi Nkwocha promised will promote the adult movie industry in England.
"The awards will bring adult films into the mainstream," Nkwocha said. "It recognizes that men and women appearing in these movies are talented professionals and should be praised for their best work. In time the Adult Film Awards will be bigger than the Oscars."
The UK adult industry is estimated to be worth 1 billion British pounds.
The UK Adult Film Awards will recognize excellence in 37 categories, according to Life Style Extra. The Hammersmith Palais will host the event.
