DMM Debuts R18. com, English Site for Japanese Porn

TOKYO — R18.com, the English version of Japanese adult website DMM.co.jp, was rolled out today.

Japanese company DMM translated titles for all of its video-on-demand content into R18.com's English-language marketplace.

R18.com offers more than 200,000 movie titles, including those in more than 250 categories. The site also includes 5,000 hentai comics.

“Our users will never be starved for content with over 2,000 new Japanese movies added per month,” said Alain Bariel, manager of R18.com.

R18.com's Japanese-language parent site, DMM.co.jp, counts more than 9 billion page views per month and a user base of 10 million members.

DMM is a company that offers more than porn. The Tokyo firm, in business for more than 15 years, is a service provider for 3D printing and car rentals. It also markets solar panels and mainstream DVD releases.
