Icon Brands Signs CockyBoys to Sex Toy Deal

LOS ANGELES —  Icon Brands on Tuesday announced a multi-year deal to develop a range of adult novelties centered around CockyBoys, the reigning XBIZ Award-winning Gay Studio of the Year, for national and international distribution.

Icon, perhaps best known for its turnaround of the 20-year old Falcon Studios line, said it "expects to strike lightning twice, given all the buzz and acclaim around the CockyBoy's label."

Icon spokesman Jim Carson remarked, "This is undoubtedly one of the most exciting moments in Icon's three year history. CockyBoys just swept the XBIZ Awards winning Gay Studio of the Year and Gay Director of The Year, among their many other recent award-show wins. Everyone's talking about them; they're clearly redefining the genre."

The CockyBoys line will feature reproductions of its most popular exclusive stars, plus many of the gay male accessories for which Icon is already known for. The rollout will start immediately, with product shipping as early as later this month.

Carson added, "It's not every day that an adult film studio is written up in Salon.com, Huffington Post, New York Magazine, The Village Voice and even Cosmopolitan! And it's not every studio that's invited to speak at Vassar College about the new art-porn movement they've ignited; that's the forward kind of partner we want at Icon, and thats exactly what CockyBoys brings to the table."

CockyBoys owner and director, Jake Jaxson, is equally excited about the pairing.

"Icon gets us," Jaxson said. "They really understand our brand, which is one of the reasons I'm so excited to be working with them. Icon appreciates the importance of our aesthetic and they are experts in packaging and branding, so I'm confident that our look and feel will be extended to toys in top-shelf fashion. We're both at exciting growth stages as companies and we couldn't be happier to see them take our brand into the novelty market."
