LAS VEGAS – Fleshlight COO Brian Shubin told XBIZ Fleshlight is offering a reward for information regarding the whereabouts of professional fighter War Machine, aka Jon Koppenhaver, who’s wanted by Las Vegas police after a three-person altercation that reportedly resulted in the hospitalization of adult star Christy Mack.
TMZ reports Mack can barely speak due to injuries sustained by War Machine, her boyfriend. Mack’s friends and family are offering a $5,000 reward for help locating War Machine, which Fleshlight will match, Shubin said.
Shubin, who worked with Mack for her Fleshlight Girls line of masturbators, offered glowing remarks about the starlet and vowed to offer support in ensuring her safety.
"Our family here at Fleshlight is incredibly saddened by the assault on Christy Mack,” he said. “Christy has been a pleasure to work with since we inked our Fleshlight Girl contract nearly a year ago. Fleshlight is a family-run business lead by my father, who is the model of a man who protects and provides. It affects us deeply that a wonderful woman was hurt. I won't pay any acknowledgement to a 32-year-old child who can't control his emotion around women. It's unimaginable. We here at Fleshlight will do what we can to continually support our extended family, Christy Mack."
Noting his father’s former career as a police officer, Shubin said he’s aware of the pervasiveness and gravity of domestic violence. Fleshlight was developed in part to offer men an outlet for sexual frustration, which is often a contributing factor in situations of domestic violence, he said.
War Machine, a professional fighter who dabbled in porn in 2010, has been named the “primary suspect” in the case, police told TMZ. War Machine at post time remains at large as police continue their investigation.
In the wake of the incident, Bellator MMA released the fighter from his promotional contract Friday.
He previously was arrested on felony assault charges in 2010 and served jail time in 2011 and '12. War Machine, who has 19 pro fights, has not competed since losing at a Bellator event in October.
Mack has performed in more than 100 adult movies since 2012, winning the Best New Starlet honor at the 2014 XBIZ Awards.
