LOS ANGELES — Several porn stars, including Daisy Marie, Misty Stone, Alexa Aimes, Natasha and Natalia Starr, Layton Benton, Cassandra Cruz, Mia Isabella and Vicki Chase, appeared on last night's episode of the popular FX television series, "Sons Of Anarchy."
The show, which has entered its seventh and final season, chronicles a close-knit outlaw motorcycle club, SAMCRO, operating in Charming, a fictional town in the Central Valley.
The starlets played main attractions for the “Welcome Home Stripper & Porn Party” scene at Redwoody, thrown for newly released from prison SAMCRO President Jackson “Jax” Teller, played by Charlie Hunnam.
The “party” was arranged by Jax’s mother, Gemma, played by Katey Sagal, who was seen killing Jax’s wife, Tara, in last season’s finale. The murder was covered up and pinned on the Chinese Lin Triad.
Aimes, who twerked her way around the fictional wild biker party, said she was thrilled with the mainstream visibility. “I had a blast being a part of 'SOA'," Aimes said. "They got my sense of humor right away and would joke, ‘Here comes trouble!’ when I walked by. I thank them so much for being so awesome, and allowing me into their television ‘home’.”
"It was the most epic and amazing experience of my life to date,” Stone said. “This is one of my all time favorite television series, and I got to be a part of it. I feel like I'm floating on air right now. I've worked so hard for so many years, almost a decade, and now the whole world gets to see my talent. I'm speechless, baby. I crossed over.”
Stone described her scene for “SOA” as intense and bloody (she goes down in a blaze of gun shots), and feels that the scene could have a potential positive impact on up-and-coming porn stars of color.
Industry veteran Howard Levine was appointed special casting director for the bevy of adult stars who have appeared on the “Sons of Anarchy” series.
"It is without a doubt a great honor and privilege to be working this year on 'Sons of Anarchy,' the final ride as the adult casting director," Levine told XBIZ. "It is the number-one-rated show on cable, and is seen all over the world. Last night's premiere drew a record number of viewers. It is great exposure for our stars. It is so much fun working with the girls on a mainstream project; they all are very professional. Sometimes it was like herding a group of cats, but always fun."
There has also been some reverse crossover, with Kristen Renton, who plays fictional porn star Ima Tite on “SOA,” serving as permanent co-host on Amber Lynn’s “Rock ‘N’ Sexxxy Uncensored” show on LA Talk Radio, which itself represents a cross-section of adult and mainstream culture.
