Hustler TV Inks Exclusive Deal With Third Degree Films

LOS ANGELES — LFP Broadcasting, the parent company of Hustler TV, signed an exclusive deal to distribute Third Degree Films for video-on-demand and pay-per-view.

Under the terms of the deal, Hustler TV will begin releasing a new Third Degree Film every month starting in January.

LFP Broadcasting President Michael Klein told XBIZ that signing Third Degree, a company known for gonzo-style productions featuring newer female talent, gives Hustler TV a competitive edge in terms of attracting consumers. The studio has performed well on various industry DVD charts, which Klein uses as a barometer for fan demand.

“The addition of Third Degree only reinforces the fact that Hustler TV has more titles that appear on the top 25 adult DVD rental and sales charts than any other adult network,” Klein said. “We see the industry charts as a measure for how strong a title can perform in PPV and VOD since it has already demonstrated its strength in DVD rentals and sales, thereby showing its popularity.”

Joseph Wilson, who helms Third Degree, said the deal represents a major achievement for the three-year-old company because the Hustler TV VOD and PPV model allows studios such as his to leverage new distribution channels in order to reach a broader base of consumers.

“The huge success of Hustler TV has allowed studios like Third Degree Films to expand beyond traditional outlets and into the world of VOD and PPV,” Wilson said. “I'm extremely excited to be associated with a company that has defined what quality adult entertainment is all about.”

Klein said he sees the addition of Third Degree as an important one to a roster that includes Red Light District, Evil Angel, Jules Jordan Video, Teravision, Hustler Video, VCA Pictures, Harmony Films, Elegant Angel, Andrew Blake’s Studio A Entertainment, Defiance Films and Torrid Entertainment.

“We are committed to delivering truly unique and dynamic adult programming that reflects the quality our customers associate with the Hustler brand,” he said, adding that Hustler TV will continue to add other studios in the coming months.
