Adult DVD Empire Opens Distribution Center in Reno

WARRENDALE, Pa. — Retail website Adult DVD Empire has opened a new West Coast distribution center in a Reno, Nev. suburb in an effort to better serve customers living West of the Mississippi river.

Adult DVD Empire COO Alicia Berry said the new facility, located in Sparks, Nev., will help the company meet its same day shipping guarantee, which means West Coast customers will receive their orders within two to three business days. Berry also said the new distribution center will help to streamline costs associated with serving the region, which in turn allows Adult DVD Empire to offer its customers a free shipping option on sales.

The company began Reno operations in April on an experimental basis. After several months of moving product out of the new facility, Berry said Adult DVD Empire was ready to officially launch the West Coast distribution operation.

“We’re really working to improve delivery time for our West Coast customers. Opening up another branch was a huge endeavor for us.” Berry said. “We worked for several months determining the logistics of how the orders will ship and what is best for our customers. The testing phase is complete, and we feel that our operations live up to the quality of service that our customers expect and we strive to provide.”
