LOS ANGELES — Internet rumors have long had Quentin Tarantino planning to make a remake of the Russ Meyer classic “Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!” with porn starlet Tera Patrick stepping into the role of Varla, made famous by the late Tura Satana.
While this scenario hasn’t played out yet, fans of the idea can see it live in person at the “Tura! Tura! Tura! III” mixed media art exhibition in Los Angeles.
The Tura! Tura! Tura! III Dec. 6 kick-off party/celebrity reception (at Lethal Amounts Gallery in downtown L.A.) will feature host Tera Patrick modeling original Tura Satana film costumes throughout the night.
The event will also feature a live Q&A with original “FPKK” stars Lori Williams and Dennis Busch, alongside longtime Meye companion, Kitten Natividad. Natividad is also know for her starring role in “Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens.”
Natividad will also perform a live burlesque striptease.
Tura! Tura! Tura! III is the third art and fashion exhibition honoring the iconic Meyer starlet Tura Satana. The show features new artwork from more than 50 artists, including Jason Mecier, Mitch O’Connell, Bev Hogue, Von Franco and others.
The event also features live go-go dancers, music by DJ Howie Pyro, and a sneak preview of the biggest Tura Satana announcement since the release of “FPKK.”
