Venus Lux Signs Distribution Deal With Pulse

LOS ANGELES — Venus Lux, the 2014 XBIZ Transsexual Performer of the Year, has signed an exclusive three-year deal with Pulse Distribution to distribute her DVD performances internationally.

Lux will head her own studio, Venus Lux Entertainment, and her first DVD production is in the works. The contract gives Lux creative freedom to experiment in subgenres including fetishes rising in popularity, such as femdom, parody, and cosplay, she said. Devotees of the Asian performer will be able to purchase these DVDs from the soon-to-be relaunched Venus Lux website online store.

"This is a huge step forward for me in my career," Lux said. "The contract took eight months to close and I'm very proud to have completed negotiations for my company's first exclusive deal.

"Having the ability to make decisions about storylines and genres, and having creative control over productions is something I'm excited, nervous, thrilled, and every other emotion about! Fans can anticipate scenes they've never seen on DVD before; I'm not going to hold back!"

Only a few years ago, Lux was contemplating a job at a salon. This year she is nominated for XBIZ Transsexual Performer of the Year, XBIZ Adult Site of the Year - Transsexual.

Lux currently is working on the relaunch of Venus-Lux.com and will be streamlining the site to make it more user-friendly for fans. The online subscription site will feature upgrades such as an easy click layout, interactive blog, larger video players for a better experience, and a tour area with updated trailers that potential members can sample before joining.
