The new show stars former "Friends" star Courteney Cox, who plays the editor of two tabloid magazines. According to Daniels, Cox's tabloid editor hires Daniel's character to seduce a pro basketball player so a paparazzi photographer can snap pictures of him in the act.
"After he is blackmailed with the photos of us in compromising positions, the basketball star hunts me down," Daniels said. "I don't want to give away too much, so everyone just has to watch. I am in a couple of episodes this season, and we are discussing the capacity of my character's return next season."
This isn't Daniels first crossover into mainstream acting. She also appears in director Judd Apatow's "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and is slated to appear in Apatow's next movie, as well.
"Dirt" made its debut last night at 10 p.m. on FX. For more information on FX and its programming, visit FXNetworks.com.
