'Triple X Tycoon' Game Looks to Crowdfunding

NEW YORK — Joy-Toilet Collectives, the studio currently developing Triple X Tycoon, is seeking crowdfunding on OffBeatr as an alternate source of pre-release funding.

"Triple X Tycoon's release date was recently pushed back for the sole purpose of fleshing out its gameplay further and optimizing the game's technology for future ports to mobile. At face value we just can't slap a bow on what we see as a game in alpha before the end of 2014," lead developer Christon "Doop" LeJohn said.

The company said it is currently undergoing a voting phase where the game must be approved by the community as an idea before the developers can collect any money from the public.

LeJohn added, "We knew it would be an uphill battle from the beginning. We've spoken to some pretty big names in both the video game and adult industry and everyone wants to see this thing come out. But in some cases it quickly became a matter of how sanitized could we make it first. And we don't want to gloss over anything."
