Newcomer Anya Ivy Talks 'Not the Jersey Boys XXX'

LOS ANGELES — Riding the momentum of her role in the multiple XBIZ Award-nominated "Not the Jersey Boys XXX," newcomer Anya Ivy is back in Los Angeles until Dec. 20, booking new shoots.

Ivy, a 22-year-old Boston native who resides in Atlanta, can be booked through OC Modeling

"I enjoy meeting new people and seeing interesting things during my travels and I love my flexible schedule because it allows me to stay super happy, plus this will be the first time going to the XBIZ Awards in Los Angeles," Ivy said. "I heard it is really glamorous so I can't wait."

"Not Jersey Boys XXX A Porn Musical," the X-Play production which is nominated for Best Parody and several other XBIZ Awards on Jan. 15, turned out to be Ivy's most high-profile movie credit to date.

"I'm happy to be in 'Jersey Boys XXX.' It's a musical so it was a big shoot and my sex scene didn't start until three in the morning so the buildup was really exciting," she said. "I was so anxious to have sex because the guys were cute singing their songs and it was cool because I love having sex at any hour."

Ivy is listed as black on her agency site, but she has been playing several ethnic types including Latina and mixed-race roles.

"The girl is on fire," said director Will Ryder, who directed "Jersey Boys XXX."

A skilled painter and singer, Ivy took an interest in the sex movie business after a visit to Miami.

"One day I'm down in Miami and the next thing you know I'm performing my first sex scene and it was exhilarating so I thought let's do it again," Ivy said. "I love Miami but it's exciting coming to Los Angeles because I'm only here for a few weeks at a time. It keeps things fresh knowing the clock is ticking and I have a short window to get my shoots in before I fly home."

She said she prefers a gentleman in and out of the bed. "A romantic dinner with a nice man, a good bottle of wine andsome kisses on my neck and my pants might come off by themselves," she joked.

Outside a warehouse on a scorching, treeless frontage road in Compton, there is little to suggest that a movie is being made behind its nondescript walls. Similar buildings across the Southwest frequently house adult productions, their unassuming exteriors concealing carefully lit sets where crews labor over every visual detail.
