LOS ANGELES — Erotic filmmaker and author of “Master of O,” Ernest Greene, along with film legend Nina Hartley, will be on hand on Thursday, Jan. 29, at Hustler Hollywood in West Hollywood for a reading of and a Q&A about Greene’s novel, "Master of O." The event will begin at 8 p.m., and is free to the public.
The two-part kinky event will begin with Greene and Hartley reading selections from Greene’s novel, “Master of O.” "Master of O" is a retelling of the BDSM classic, “Story of O,” set in contemporary Los Angeles and told from the master’s point of view.
Then they will conduct a Q&A with attendees about the novel and about dominant/submissive relationships in general.
"Master of O” follows half-brothers Ray and Steven — two men with little in common except for their shared passion for the dynamically beautiful O, a talented photographer with a secret life as a slave to the sexual whims of the competitive, and emotionally flawed, siblings.
“There are two sides to every story,” said Greene. “’Master of O’ is a re-imagination of the characters as seen from a dominant man’s point of view, rather than from the submissive O’s. In my novel, I drew reality-based composites of people I’ve known from the BDSM culture and incorporated them into these rich characters.”
The Hustler Hollywood store is located at 8920 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood.
