“I’m thrilled that AVN found Brazilian Island II worthy of such an honor,” Avalon said. “My team puts a lot of hard work into creating our movies and we certainly think that we create outstanding product, but it’s nice to have that opinion validated.”
“Brazilian Island II” was shot on Brazil’s coastline and featured an all-native cast.
“Brazil is a beautiful place to shoot adult movies for a number of reasons,” Avalon said. “The people down there have an extremely laid back attitude towards sex and that allows us to attract the type of people that might not be willing to appear in an adult production elsewhere.”
Avalon, who currently only shoots movies in Brazil, plans to film another movie there this spring.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to their thank everyone who worked on the movie, from the performers to the editors, as well as the retailers and fans that have helped make Nectar’s Brazilian movies a success,” Avalon said.
