HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tanya Tate will be making an appearance at the Wondercon pop-culture convention in Anaheim, California this weekend.
Tate will be on the “How To Get News” panel presented to help small press publishers and creators attain news coverage, interviews and promotion in their desired genre.
“I’m in a unique position in that I play both sides of the fence,” Tate said. “On one side I cover events, conduct interviews and do reviews as a member of the press. On the other I have created a vinyl figure line and a comic book character. So, I have a grasp of what media outlets are looking for, as well as the process of pitching one’s self to the press. I think I can provide some helpful information on how to aggressively promote a small press project with limited time and budget.”
The panel is set to take place in on April 4 at 10 a.m. PDT in Room 209.
After the panel, Tate will be signing at Artist Alley at the booth of fantasy author A. Wrighton; C-46 from 2-4 p.m.
The Anaheim Convention Center is located at 700 West Convention Way in Anaheim, California.
