Lexi Lowe to Host 2015 Paul Raymond Awards

LONDON — Paul Raymond Publications has confirmed that U.K. adult star Lexi Lowe will host the 2015 Paul Raymond Awards.

The awards ceremony, which has been moved from its previous venue to the iconic ballroom of Cafe de Paris in London, will take place on Thursday, Nov. 5.

“It was a no brainer to ask Lexi to host this year’s awards show,” said Mark Hassell, head of marketing and event co-ordinator at Paul Raymond, the U.K.’s largest publisher of adult magazines,

“Lexi has been a permanent fixture at our awards shows since the beginning, from being trophy girl at our first ever awards to walking away last year with the Paul Raymond Girl of the Year award.”

Lowe will not be hosting the awards alone, Hassell said. In keeping with the previous years, he said Paul Raymond is searching for a mainstream co-host to share the stage with the adult film star. Last year the awards ceremony was hosted by “The Apprentice” and “Celebrity Big Brother” star Luisa Zissman alongside top comedian Russell Kane.

Hassell noted that social media selfie queen Karen Danczuk turned down an offer to co-host the awards despite defending viewing porn and standing by her husband, Labour Party legislator Simon Danczuk, who was recently caught up in a media storm after it was revealed he had favored a tweet from a hardcore porn site on Twitter.

Offers to co-host the awards have also be extended to former “Top Gear” presenter Jeremy Clarkson and “Inbetweeners” star James Buckley, among others.

Award categories and nominees will be announced shortly, Hassell said.
