The CSPH Announces ‘An Affair to Remember’ Fundraiser Event

PAWTUCKET, R.I. — The Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health has announced its “An Affair to Remember” fundraising event, set for Saturday, September 19, from 6-9 p.m. at the Fête Music Hall, located on 103 Dike Street, in Providence, R.I.

The event celebrates The CSPH’s fifth year as a sex-positive adult educational organization.

“We are thrilled to host our supporters and community members in celebration of this milestone,” says Program Manager Kira Manser. “This evening is both about looking back and honoring the foundational work done by leaders in the sexological field, as well as looking forward to all the ways The CSPH can continue building in the future.”

The unique fundraising event will feature an art installation entitled “A Place at the Table,” inspired by Judy Chicago’s “The Dinner Plate.” This will be a one night only exhibit, showcasing dinner plates crafted by local New England artists, with each plate honoring a significant moment in the history of the field of sexuality, and auctioned off during the event.

The night will also include music and light hors’ d’oeuvres, with one free, custom-crafted, signature CSPH cocktail and one gift bag for each attendee. Additional silent auction items will also be available, ranging from wellness packages to a weekend stay in the Berkshires. Funds raised by this event will help The CSPH support its mission, with hopes of raising $20,000 to provide comprehensive and pleasure-based sexual health and education services.

Limited VIP tickets are available for a specialized experience, as well an exclusive toast with Megan Andelloux and The CSPH Board during the event. Founder and director of The CSPH, Andelloux is a board-certified sexologist, ISSWSH Fellow, and AASECT-certified sexuality educator, widely known for her innovative workshops and her sex positive approach to sexuality education.

“Our five-year anniversary is a huge milestone for The CSPH, and we are excited for the chance to celebrate this achievement,” says Andelloux. “But we also want to use this occasion as a stepping-stone to even greater accomplishments to come. We see ourselves becoming the go-to touchstone for sexual pleasure and health education, and with your help, we can make this a reality. Thanks for all that you do, and come have a great night out with us!”

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The CSPH is tax-exempt, so donations are tax-deductible.
