TheContentStore.com Adds Dave Pounder Productions to Roster

LOS ANGELES — Content licensor TheContentStore.com just got an infusion of movies in the college coed niche with the addition of Dave Pounder Productions to its studio roster.

“Dave is a very well liked personality and he’s absolutely nailed the college coed niche, all pun intended,” TheContentStore.com owner Jonathan Silverstein said. “When Dave came to me to initiate the deal I jumped at it right away. I know how popular his ‘Bikini Banger’ series is and his site does extremely well. I’m honored that he came to me and gave me the opportunity to offer these DVD titles to my customers.”

A banker turned porn star, Pounder released the first title from Dave Pounder Productions in 2003. Last year Pounder was admitted to the Ph.D. program in telecommunications at Indiana University, but didn’t finish his degree.

“I’m very enthusiastic about working with TheContentStore.com and to have Jonathan licensing my DVD titles to webmasters,” Pounder said. “I’ve been considering DVD licensing for a while now and wanted to deal with a credible company experienced in this marketplace that has a strong client base. Jonathan has been in this business from the very beginning and I’m confident he can assist me greatly with more exposure to both webmasters and surfers than I can possibly create on my own.”

Silverstein said he signed Pounder to an exclusive deal because of his unique reality-style content that appeals to a younger, Internet-savvy crowd.

“Exclusive agreements with companies like Dave Pounder Productions is our way of differentiating our DVD licensing company from other content providers and giving webmasters an edge in the highly competitive field of membership pay sites,” Silverstein said.

“In the coming weeks, there will be several more exciting announcements regarding new studio acquisitions. As I’ve said many times before, our goal is to assist paysite owners in garnering the highest retention levels possible by providing top-quality studios and DVD content that cannot be found elsewhere.”
