MELBOURNE — Eros, Australia’s adult industry trade group, has tapped Alina Tooley as its new CEO.
The vacancy was caused by the election of its former CEO, Fiona Patten, to the Victorian Upper House, at the last state election.
Tooley has approximately 15 years of experience in general management, policy development and program management within state and federal government, healthcare management, advocacy, membership organizations and industry associations.
She previously had various roles within the agricultural and biotechnology industries and directed bloodborne virus and sexually transmissible infections programs at the Department of Health and Ageing in Canberra.
Eros President David Watt said: “We are very happy to announce, that after an exhausting and thorough process … that Eros is proud to present its new general manager, Alina Tooley.”
“Alina has good experience in the nonprofit sector,” Watt said. “She has a great vision for Eros and knows how to work with the board to add tangible value for our members and stakeholders.”
Tooley said: “I am excited to be appointed to the role, and continue the good work Eros has been doing for over 20 years and look forward to utilizing my skills from working within other industry associations to benefit the members of Eros.”
