PURE Offers Anonymous Dating App

LOS ANGELES — Anonymous dating app PURE has announced an increase in users of its private service, following the revelation of high profile consumer data leaks attributed to other services.

According to PURE spokesperson Roman, society has prescribed certain expectations when it comes to love and sexual relationships: what a relationship should look like, how each person should behave based on traditional gender roles, how long you should date each other before becoming serious, which sexual experiences are appropriate, etc. — and an inability to conform to these expectations leads to dishonesty, cheating and shame.

“Monogamy is a perfect example of this, there is an entire industry that is benefitting from the conflict between what people want and what they are expected to do,” Roman says. “At PURE we believe it’s natural to feel a powerful sense of attachment to a long-term partner while exploring an intense romantic love with somebody else, and feeling sexual desire for a whole range of people. It’s all about exploring different dynamics with different people — sexual, emotional, psychological and spiritual.”

Roman says that PURE acknowledges that human sexuality is diverse and broad.

“There is no one definition of normal. No matter what decisions you make or what your preferences are, honesty and openness towards yourself and others is essential for a happy life,” Roman says. “This goes hand in hand with your fundamental right to keep it private and confidential.”

Guaranteed confidentiality and anonymity are part of PURE’s DNA, which is reportedly the only dating app that does not require a phone number, email address or a Facebook login to use it.

“All you need to meet someone is a selfie,” Roman explains. “When you are in the right mood, submit a meeting request and within one hour we will show you people who want to meet right now. When you like someone who likes you back, we give you one hour to get to know each other and decide where you want to meet.”

Customer payment information is handled exclusively by Apple or Google and the company does not have access to it. PURE provides end-to-end encryption and all chat history, including photos, self-destructs after one hour, leaving no trace on the PURE servers.

“Your sensitive data can’t be hacked and leaked because we never had it in the first place,” Roman says. “This makes PURE the most secure, safe and private dating app on the market.”

During the past 12 months, PURE users have created more than 1 million meeting requests, with the firm noting a recent substantial increase in new subscribers.

“We are continuously working towards a more personalized on-demand experience, and focusing on building a community of like-minded people, who share our values of freedom and openness,” Roman concludes. “We are happy to see that more and more people are sharing our philosophy.”
